stop asking internet suspension experts and take it to a real shop with up to date alignment machines. alignment issues can be a huge headache even if the right shop or person works on it. too many variables...

I'm not "asking internet suspension experts." I'm getting information on my own to learn about toe/camber/ball joints/shocks so as to not be bull****ted or be told that it always happens to Michelin tires.

Coolpop, who's talking? My post was for the OP, not you. So don't get so defensive for no reason. =)

as for being told this is a known issue with Michelins...you don't need in depth knowledge in suspension/alignement to call bs on it. I'd report the technician to the owner of the shop for bs like that. Michelin in general makes some of the best tires in the world with proven track record. exception of formula 1 but that's another story.

FYI I don't know if it's a Michelin related issue, but my tires are doing the same. And I have Pilot Sport A/S needless to say mine is a bit worse. Slices, and chunks of rubber leaves my tire. I just ordered some continental dews, but this thread makesme realize I should look into getting a wheel alignment since I've never had one. in the 15k miles vie owned the car

I'm sure I don't have an answer for you but i'm just curious how old the tires are? I have Michelins on mine are they seem to be wearing just fine. They've been on for about 20,000 miles and I drive the car in the pothole capital of the world, Pennsylvania. If you do happen to get the answer, please share it with us because that sure doesn't look to me like normal wear. Nor am I willing to believe Michelins just "do that".
