Default Wiper Blades

My wipers are gone and I need recommendations for replacement. Do you guys typically use the lexus wiper blades or other brands? Thanks.

I just got replacements from Sewell and they were easy to install and work great.

Check them out in the vendor section.

U can buy just the rubber insert from dealer. weird that certainly everyone don't sell insert anymore.

I have the rain x blade and it works pretty good so far.

The Valeo 600 series seems to get very good scores. The PIAA Silicone blade is supposed to be good too.

Rubber inserts, they are very inexpensive and easy to install.

Trico Neoforms. I have been using them for years on both of my vehicles. Can get them just about anywhere. For the driver's side, part # 16-240. The passenger side is 16-190.

Go with the PIAA Silicone blades. I had them on my TL for over 3 years in all types of weather (DC, Atlanta, New Orleans) and they were great...only replaced them cause the black finish was wearing off.

Spend the time on the initial install as instructed and they are awesome.

Before I got these I would replace every three months whenever a streak would develop, as I'm OCD about that.

Good luck!

Has anyone found an improvement in going with a single piece wiper blade like the Valeo 900 Ultimate, or the Bosch Icon?

I still get streaking from the Lexus wipers and I wonder if it is because the limited pressure points.

I don't want cheap and just does the job, I want whatever does the job the best.

The Lexus OE wipers are not great - the factory ones on my old 2001 BMW 3 series put them to shame!

I have long been an "OEM only" person for wipers, but my GS had Bosch Icon on it when I got it. They worked flawlessly through light rain, heavy rain and a snowstorm last winter. I just replaced them and went with the Icons again. They are not cheap, but the parts stores often run a buy one, get one half off deal on them. I run OEM on all our other vehicles, but the Icons seem to work very well on the GS.

Thanks. I was looking at those. I think I will try them on your recommendation.
