Goodbye Acura! Hello Lexus GS350 AWD!
 

Just traded my 2005 Acura TL at Kenny Kent in Evansville, IN and got an incredible deal on a 2010, Matador Mica Red AWD GS350 w/Nav.:thumbup:
Gawwwd! What a car! I've always coveted the GS. Now I've got one.
Totally love it!

Talked to Plaza Lexus in St. Louis on Saturday, and they wouldn't deal. On to Evansville where we bought my wife's IS 250 AWD, and it couldn't have been an easier deal.

I'm surprised that Plaza wouldn't deal with you. I picked up my 08' from them and they were pretty good to deal with and are taking pretty good care of me. They are also going to be fixing a few things like in the interior and exterior.

Congrats on the upgrade on the car. I too had a 2005 TL and just got into a GS. Night and day in all ways compared to the TL. Enjoy the car!

There is just no comparison between the TL & the GS. Materials, fit and finish, but above all. It's the GS's combination of ride & handling that astounds me. No comparison whatsoever. Interior noise? fugataboutit!

I was going to wait until the Gen 4 came out, but I just couldn't pass up the deal I was offered. It was the last 2010 GS on the lot (80 miles on the odo, Matador Red w/Black Interior), and they offered it to me at 42,790. Sticker was 50,685 w/nav preferred accessory package, ventilated seats, sunshade, parking asst, and rear spoiler.

They gave me 8,200 for my TL with 134,500 miles on it.
Great deal. Wasn't it?

As for Plaza:
It's definately a beautiful dealership, and they were friendly, butttt... I was looking at a silver on black 2010 demo, in the showroom, that had 5800 miles on it. Same nav/accessory package, same sticker. First offer they gave me was 3,200 for my TL against sticker. :rolleyes:OK, now I don't think I look that stoopid, but damn. Do they really think that's the way to start with me? Second offer, 5,200 against 48,500. Then had the audacity to say: "well at the end of the day, it's really a new car". :egads:Uhhh no it's not. It's got 5800 miles on it. I told them tops I would go is 8k for my TL against 41k for the GS (I had already researched my numbers and that was a generous offer) They finally test drove my TL, and came back with 7,500 for the TL against 42,500. I thanked them for their time, and politely excused myself. Called Kenny Kent Monday and asked them to see if they could find a silver on black 2010. They called back about 45 minutes later, and said only 4 in the central US closest in Saginaw MI, but The sales guy (John Ford) said "what if I could give you a price on a red on black that could make you colorblind"? The rest is history. :woot:

First thing I'm looking for is a good looking front lip.
The Blitz looks pretty good. Gonna need some illiuminated doorsills too. I'll wait till my shoes are worn out for rims, but I really like the G Spiders. Anyone put them on an AWD? (I know, I know, I'll do a search)
