Default 06 Reliability

Looking to purchase a 06 gs350 and was wondering how reliability these car are? Also maintenance wise how DIY serviceable is it?(plugs,fluids,brakes..etc)
Are they interference or non interference engines? Any help would be great really looking forward to owning one!

Nobody here seems to have ever had any major problems, the only thing we complain about are nitpicky fit and finish things.

Biggest issue seems to be valve springs/carbon buildup, both of which have service bulletins for and are covered under the powertrain warranty - at least in the US.

By the way I think you're confused, since there is no 06 GS350, they were still the slightly smaller engined GS300 in 06.

Pretty sure they are interference engines, but they use timing chains so all is well.

Mine has less then 50k I get the rattles when its cold out like the rest. Other then that I haven't had any issues with the car.

If you find one its worth getting for an every day car

I have 50K on my 2006 and have had no problems at all. General maintenance is about it. Just replaced the OEM tires with the new Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus and the ride is amazing. Can't even feel hitting a pothole on the road.
