diy top engine clean
Hi,just trying to get some input. my 07 gs350 is getting poor gas mileage now (81k on engine) thinking about getting some BG44k and let it suck thru vac brake line as I do my sc300, do you recommend my doing that or just let the dealer do it? your input is greatly needed. my mileage now is somewhere in the 22.5 mpg range when it use to be in the 27 too 28.5 mpg range on the hi way..

44K is in-tank usage only, with a refill once the first tankful gets down to 1/3 remaining.
If you want the faster result, you'll need the Induction Service kit.
Don't forget cold weather means denser air, meaning more fuel used to maintain the stoichiometric values the ECU is programmed for.

Might be off topic, but my GS430 and +105K miles, oil changes every 3K(more than needed, I know) and I'm still getting over 25 on the highway. How does fuel mileage get so bad? And that's going over 75 on the highway

The car only has 77K miles, with oil change every 5K miles, and a bottle of fuel injector cleaner every 2500 miles.
Driving between 70-75 mph gets better mileage than driving in the city 30-35 mpg, I noticed that.
