The black roof would look much better on the red GS if the wheels were black. Look totally off to me with the chrome wheels.

chrome wheels looks fine with black roof, because there's plenty of chrome trim around the car to match.

the black roof was meant to be matched with tinted windows.

I love the way your car looks, as I posted on your thread if I had the matador red no question I'm painting it black. I'm just not sold on my silver car but that's just me, no disrespect to the other silver cars that have done it.

its all matter of taste if u like the way it looks then do it thats one of the first things im planning on doing mine. I personally like the way its looks so im with you on that

Paint the roof black and put a huge spoiler on the trunk, then you're golden.

you could always DIY vinyl for cheap, like this guy...

Don't paint it, just put vinyl. That way if you ever get tired of the look or decide to sell you car you can always take it off

That's why it doesn't make sense to ask these kind of questions.
I've done it once or twice just to have fun. I knew what I wanted. I didn't need the opinions of others. It was fun reading the replies though. Bottom line....do what you want.

Default this is mine but i dont think it look bad
it does not look like a scion it still got da lexus look ...some people r mad cuz their cars are either black or a has realy dark color.and my roof is vinyl not painted that mean i can take it off any time i want

I am taking the plunge! My car go's in Monday.....Top will be painted with PPG Black and Ceramic clear coat on top, Found a shop that specializes in high end autos, they are going to make it look better than if it came from that factory that way.

So gents.....I will have fresh pics by next Thursday of my Scion! LOL
