Ticking / Grinding noise on start up

What was the outcome here I8?
I sometimes park my GS for the weekend. On the Monday morning start up, I get the grinding noise. I wonder if the oil sinks down and doesnt stay in the chambers?
This cant be good for the engine regardless. I will need to drop the car off on a FRI so it can sit for them over the weekend to ensure they hear what I am hearing.
What is the TSB and what is involved?

Just dropped mine off today to see if they can reproduce the issue and resolve it, its ridiculous that lexus knows this issue exists and know how to fix it but chose to give the consumer a hard time when they want their luxury vehicle to start up with out sounding like an old mitsubishi!

Guys, bad news...
They performed TSIB EG020-07 about a year ago, yet my toy had just went under knife again for the same problem.
Now I am wondering what happen once the warranty runs out, are they still going to repair it under the warranty... It is going to be costly if we have to pay out the pocket, b/c this repair take over 6 hours to perform.
Still it seems like they have not yet find the solution...
P.S. I have addressed this issue to Lexus' HQ, I will let you know once I get a response from them.

Is there a TSB number for this cam gear problem. Trying to knock-off all my issues the next time I go to the dealer. Since I'm out of warranty, I'm not too sure how they would handle the TSB's.
My understanding is that TSB's are covered during the warranty period. Is that accurate?

My question...if you had it fixed once before under TSB and the problem happens again outside of the warranty, then what?
This is especially important if this issue has the distinct potential of creating premature wear and tear. Starting an engine without sufficient lubrication is not a trivial deal.

I wonder why some cars would have this problem and others not? You would think that it's a design issue and they are replacing the parts with something that is designed to work differently.
I wonder what the difference is between car A and car B which have both been started X amounts of time give or take and only one of them has the problem. I've never noticed anything with my car, but I bought it second hand and for all I know it has already had this fix applied to it in the past. It doesn't seem that this history is available to me.

Remember, lexus is Toyota and we all know Toyota
has been "accused" of being less than forthcoming about the
runaway accleration issues. Maybe they need some bad press
regarding their practices of selling known F Sport sway bars
with inferior bushings etc.

Wouldn't this be covered under the longer powertrain warranty?
In any case it is worrying. Can anybody describe the noise more? Is it very noticeable. Ideally could somebody record the sound?
