umm, if i am correct that panel with vents, it's where the temperature sensor is. if that's taken out and put in the drl switch, i wonder if that will affect the temperature sensor?

umm..... man, this is getting very interesting!

let me confirm w/ the lexus tech....tommorrow....
like i said...according to this Japanese Manual/instructions.....it "illustrates in photos" that the DRL switch goes there ......

^ if that's true, why would my cover plate have that same vent thingy with the DRL slot to the side? doesn't make sense to have that slot if you are to install the DRL switch into the vent...

RC51, you don't have that plastic piece that Storm has?

so seems like there are two ways (different packages) to install this huh

good info, definitely looks like so. surprised they stay with d2s in the fogs when changing the lows to d4s

maybe you want to change the bulbs to 6000k d2s before installing?

can't wait to see how it goes! man, why are you going to a place so far away for install!

I did some searching....there is a 5000k.
my HID headlights are the Piaa 5500k right now

I will wait and see ....if I do change it ....it will be D2s Phillips 5000k. 6000k will be too blue for the fog hid....what do you think?

Do they make a 5500k D2s?

The reason why i'm going so far....is because my buddy is hooking it up.
