After searching threads for about an hour, I can't find any post in relation to this exact request.

On my 08 GS350, when running in Auto mode, the climated control screen shows it blowing at the feet.

When driving in 40 degree rain (North West weather for six months) the windsheld will start to fog up, so I can only find two options, keep selecting the front defrost every 10 minutes, or change the settings from auto to the multiple vent setting (face, feet and defrost). Gets old....

Can the "Auto" setting be changed to which vents the air will come out?

Yes, but I've also turned it off, but then the "Auto" mode turns off.

 

Auto is auto, you you change anything it's no longer auto.

You can still set your temperature independently obviously. Just take it off auto and change the vent mode to whatever you need if auto doesn't cover your bases.

 

yeah auto is auto, only thing you can change in auto mode is fresh/recirculate
