Hey guys I finally got a new smart phone ( Rogue). Before I had an old school razor and when I would hang up the phone after a call by pressing the button on the steering wheel it would drop the call instantly. With this new phone I have noticed there is a slight delay( 1 sec). I thought it may have been because I did't erase the old phone from the memory so I did that but it still has a slight delay before it hangs up.
Have you guys noticed anything similar when you got a new phone???
Thanks for your help guys

I'm sure all phones have their own quirks when operating with the headset profile.
I bet if you connect any regular bluetooth headset to this phone and use the hangup button on it, your phone will do the same thing as when using the car.

My random hypothesis on whats going on is that the delay may be caused by the fact that the new phone is touch screen and has a lock in it before it responds whereas my old razor phone was a flip phone so it had no delay in use ( it didnt need to be unlocked before it can be used). I will try to turn off my lock feature on the phone and see if it will change anything. I didn't think it was an issue with the car but was wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing. I bet I am the last person on earth to still use an old razor. When I got this phone i realized it was the third cell phone since 1999. That means I keep my phones for almost 5 years before I change them out. I know there are people who are into phones like we are into cars. I am not one of them
it's the phone, all phones are different. the car is the same, button is pressed and the hang up signal is sent out already, it's up to the phone to get the signal and decode. my iphone hangs up right the way

Yeah I didnt think there was much I could do about it. I will see tomorrow if the removal of the auto lock feature on the phone will change anything. I doubt it. Thanks for your input guys

yup your right the lock removal did nothing. I guess it is the phone as described here. I can live with it. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt an issue with the system or something that I could adjust on the phone itself
