Just sharing with you guys the PCV valve replacement, my PCV valve was working good but It have never been changed, since its very inexpensive I decided to change it and not wait until it stopped working.
Tols used:
3/4 or 19 mm deep wall socket
Universal Joint adapter
Ratchet
Magnetic Pickup Tools (Just In case)
Torque Wrench
The PCV Valve on my 2007 GS 350 right next to the brake reservoir, left of the reservoir if standing in front of the car.
Here is a pic of the location, in this case I already removed the valve, in your case you should see a hose hooked to the valve.
Remove the clasp that holds the hose into the valve and then remove the hose and put it aside, stick your 3/4 socket to the valve and unscrew:
Here is a side by side of valves:
Put your new valve on, in my case I put 27 N·m of torque. Put the hose and clasp back on and enjoy a new valve!
Next weekend i'm going to change my rotors, brake pads, shims and change my brake fluid using the Motive power brake bleeder!
Posts like this are the reason I joined Club Lexus. A part that costs $6 can extend engine life by YEARS! Lexus dealer incorrectly installed/replaced water pump which caused my top end to blow up. My 2007 GS350 was at 156k miles, and I was just getting ready to do a top end rebuild. Saved me about $3000 since it was the dealer's fault--they did the right thing and rebuilt the heads and replaced the internals. Now at 168k and runs smooth but I want to keep it until 250k...
This post is a great example of somebody helping others expecting nothing in return.

I just did the PCV valve replacement and wanted to share that it'll probably be easier if you have a 19mm crows foot wrench. If you insist on torquing it to 27Nm, place the wrench 90º to the torque wrench.

I've been looking into getting a Motive power bleeder but not sure which attachment is needed to fit the GS 350. Seems last time I researched it the reviews were a bit hit and miss, some saying it wouldn't seal tight against the fluid reservoir. Which model number attachment do you have and let us know how well it works?? Thanks!
They make the space so fckn tight because of the top cover a regular length wrench, or a flared crowfoot cant even get on the head. I couldnt even get a regular deep socket on it.

I installed mine, $10 shipped not taking chances. I read these engines can get front cover oil leaks, whatever you can do to prevent that is worth it.
I cut down an old 3/4" inch (same as 19mm) wrench, and used the closed end as leverage. Another option would be a 19mm or 3/4" non flare crowsfoot. Or a Stubby. That size isn't available in HF, Not going to spend $30 on a tool I'll probably never use again. What I made is more than fine.
Three Bond 1324 is crossed to Locktite red (271), so it isn't coming off easy. You also have to act fast to torque it, that stuff sets up in seconds. Believe me, it isn't going anywhere even if was left loose with that locktite!
INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE (a) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads.
Adhesive:
Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent
(b) Install the ventilation valve.
Torque: 27 N·m (275 kgf·cm, 20 ft·lb)
2. CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE
(a) Connect the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve.

I didnt have any pipe dope so I used 1.5 turns of stretched teflon tape. It got pretty tight, pretty sure is close to the 20 lb ft
Probably ok BUT - teflon tape isn't suggested for many car applications because it could strand off and block something
I know when you install a gas furnace it is not a good idea to use.
The stuff they suggest is basically strong crazy glue - The valve will not move without very serious torque. It locks in place, almost permanently.
The PCV valve hose at the valve side was oily and wet
Engine was consuming oil, at oil change at 6k I was missing close to a quarter.
Car was noticeable vibrating when stopped
MAF sensor was getting dirty more than usual.
PCV Valve hose was quiet rigit, I decided to replace it as well.
