I traded a 2007 Pontiac Vibe (great little car) for my recently acquired 2011 GS350. I also have a 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 that I've owned since 1991 but has not been a daily driver for a long time now. The 'stang isn't going anywhere, but I wanted something a little more luxurious than either the 'stang or the Vibe. This GS350 fits the bill! I've had it for a few weeks and I'm still going over the various manuals and a lot of threads here on ClubLexus.

Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro Avant S-line. Still missing the AWD that GS450h lacks.

Ahhh... the Starion. I remember those. Those were pretty bad in their time (mid-late '80's if I recall). Of course, I don't know when you owned yours.

Current is an 07 450h that is the best car ive owned! Dream car is a 370z, as funny as that may sound! Not a great car with 3 kids, and only 2 car garage!

Default Wheels before 2008 GS460

Am extremely happy with our new acquisition -- 2008 GS460. Very low miles, totally excellent.

Here is a pic of our previous car, the "Silver Bullet", gone as of August 2013 -- my fave "older" car -- 2004 Volvo V70R M66, Atacama leather, fac sub, full load, 300HP, 300 lb-ft torque, economical, fun, could not be stopped in any winter conditions (AWD superb with winter Hakkepalitta studded tires), a wonderful car overall. BUT -- too expensive to maintain after 200,000K: replaced complete AWD system front-to-back, angle gear, new clutch, new flywheel (single mass), all new bearings and seals, all new brakes, new fuel rail pressure sensor, new control arms ... not counting regular maintenance which we would all expect, including plugs, all fluids, all belts, all filers, etc. etc. etc. Alignment and balance challenges seemed far too frequent. You get the picture.

But everything else was great -- fit and finish were excellent, leather was almost 100% the day I sold it after 10 years of daily use, everything and I mean everything worked perfectly (windows, A/C, seats, electronics, etc.). Never needed to have the head pulled or anything like that but **** FATOS (time in the shop for all the other stuff) was just racking up too many dollars. Had almost all the work done at a great indie shop and ordered parts from the US instead of Canada (much, much better prices) -- but still, it added up to just one conclusion: time to move on.

Still have our excellent 2003 4Runner Sport V8 -- (+220,000K; 2nd wife's DD, will keep until impossible -- hey, I mean the 4Runner, not the wife!).

Previous cars: 1998 Volvo S70 T5 SE (amazing FWD; +300,000K) • 2005 Matrix FWD auto (dependable econobox, low miles) • 1998 4Runner (180,000K) • 1996 4Runner Ltd (head-on collision [100% other guy's fault], good-bye) • 1993 Celica All-Trac manual (very low miles; sold but great car while owned) • 1990 4Runner SR5 (+240,000K) • 1986 4Runner SR5 (+250,000K) • 1977 FJ45 1-ton (+180,000K, settlement gift to divorced first wife, who later totalled it! What a shame!) • 1978 Econoline van, camperized, dependable, very happy to sell • 1974 Volvo 144S -- essentially my first car, bulletproof, economical, low maintenance -- good memories of the distant past!

That's it!

Have fun, everyone -- Cheers / LexLeezard

2002 Gun Metallic BMW E46 (325i) Loved how it drove but maintenance was a bit demanding.

Hi gang. New here. Entertaining thread.

My last car was a 2012 hemi Chrysler 300s. Just traded for an 07 gs 450h.
Prior was an 06 jaguar xj. 2012 explorer. Prior to that an 01 jag xj. 2008 Mercedes r350. Jaguar s class. Cadillac dts. 08 mini cooper s. 06 Yukon. Lincoln town car. Half dozen different bikes.

Truth be told I'm a car junkie. Never keep a car too long.

Good to find this forum. Matt
