I don't remember where I read it, but there may be some way to remove the ash tray in the back of the center console and pop off some other piece to give you access to unplug and remove the AUX port that is inside the center console. In other words, there is some way to access removing that AUX port from the back without completely removing the center console, as in this thread.

Any help here?

Does any one know what cable controls the power of the display and the button lights? I was replacing the digitizer for the display and after plugging everything back in nothing but the clock turns on.
