@VDMTom- Loving the SSR wheels. Was that fitment achieved with natural camber, or did you have to adjust the arms?

20x10 +40 fronts and 20x10.5 + 25 rears. Front rolled and rears shaved. Dropped on BC-R 14k/12k. Daily. Tucking tires, not rims (just on touching the lip of the rim to be exact.). Stock suspensions other than coilovers. 225/35/20 front and 255/30/20 rears. Any issues? Thanks. I would hate to go with my backup width and offset - 20x9+30 and 20x10 +40 if this can't be confirmed. I know the backup wheel width and offset will fit.

Your best bet is to look on Google under images and there will be a crap ton of pics! Good luck

Which rims are you looking at? I had TSW on 20x9 +30 with 235/35 and when I was only lowered sitting on top of the tire, I fukd up my front fenders when I was backing out of my driveway! Needed to get them repaired even. I don't know how others have poke and static and don't jack up their fenders!? And I'm rolled too.

If I want to stay stock (stock suspension, no lowering) for 2011 GS 350 AWD and just get new wheels, what is the max size wheel/tire that I can get without any issues? I'd like to stay stock for ride comfort, snow clearance, potholes, and cost.

Would something like 245/30-20 and 285/25-20 work without any issues and would it look nicer than stock?

Also, why not 245/30-20 all the way around so that I can rotate tires? Is it noticeably better looking to have staggered wheels?

Saw on page 45 that there are a lot of AWD owners who want to change wheels/tires but stay on stock suspension and not drop the car.

Is this thread dead? Nobody is responding

After researching, I don't think the popular 245/30/20-8.5 +38 offset and 285/25/20-10.0 +45 offset is good for me because there are too many potholes in the DC/MD/VA area.

I went to Tirerack and they recommend 245/35/19-8.5 all around.

What would you guys recommend for my situation (AWD)?

1. 19" or 20"?
2. Staggered or squared?
3. What wheel/tire specs?

Thanks in advance!

This section has died down in the last couple years for AWD owners because members were hesitant on lowering due to vibration.

I have a 07GS AWD liked the looks of staggered 20's. I was lowered at least 2" for almost 100k miles, no failures what so over due to lowering. My CV boot ripped at around 120k but I didn't blame it on the coil-overs.

My fenders were all rolled so I had different widths/offsets and tire sizes.
If you arent lowering, 20x8.5 or 9 with +38 offset F and 20x10 with 40-45 offset rear should be fine.
Tires: I've ran: 235/35-20 with 275/30-20 or 225/35-20 with 265/30-20 and 225/35-20 with 255/30-20 (255 not recommended).

On my IS-F, I will run 19's because its a smaller car.
Check my FS thread if you are interested in some wheels/tires

A lot of websites I went to recommended 245/35/20-8.5 and 275/30/20-10. Is 235/35/20-8.5 better?

I ran a continental DWS 245/35-20 and it rubbed on the inner wheel well on my car when it was on a 20x8.5 +40. Another thing i didn't like was that the tire was bulky for the rim. The 275/30-20 should work as long as the shoulders of the tires are rounded.
I guess looks are subjective though.

Thanks, I'll look into 235/35/20-8.5 +38 offset and 275/30/20-10 +40-45 offset as you suggested!

Can I run 275/30/20 square setup without rubbing in the front?

Also, can I run 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear without rubbing nor fender mods?

I've never tried 275/30-20 up front, but I highly doubt it will work for you, just based on width of the tire alone, not to mention performance (handling) of the car.

I can't comment on the 19 inch sizes because I've never ran it.

Thanks.

Anyone here running 19s?

I'm thinking about either:

255/35/19 fronts, 285/30/19 rears
245/35/19 fronts, 285/30/19 rears
245/35/19 fronts, 275/30/19 rears

How's it going? Need some opinions on my wheel set up. I'm picking up a low mileage 430 and I'm going to be running a set of wheels off of my 00 Ls. F-20.9 + 35 R 20.10.5 +35. Tires are 245/35 & 275/30. Will I have any problems with running h&r springs? Oh, and I'm running a concave wheel. Any info would be great. Thanks.
