Default Chrome Trunk Bar

1. Do you think a chrome trunk bar would accentuate the rear of the gs 350?
2. I can't find a vendor anywhere and wonder if one can be made or retrofitted?

CF is understandable if done right, it can be used to reduce the overall weight of the car.. if it's CF overlay.. that's a whole other story..

well as far as it goes for our car.. no matter how much stuff you take out and replace with CF, will most likely not make much of a difference. cmon we drive a land yacht for christ sake.. maybe if the interior is gutted along with the trunk, then we can talk about weight reduction.. lol... but yes we do have a bit much chrome.. was never a fan of chrome trim around the headlights and still am not.. but i do like it on my handles.

If CF must be used, it better be painted.

bare CF is damn nasty, especially on this car.

You don't want your car to look like a Infiniti G37 Sedan/Coupe! I personally think it looks a bit tacky

I'm glad it doesn't have a chrome lid. The 2GS was body color but you could replace easily with chrome, dark chrome...

Many cars have chrome rims around the license plate area b/c the designers are trying to make the car look better and its a cheap way to do it. Otherwise it would be a huge expanse of paint.

I think the Escalade is one of the worst offenders

^^ Further details needed. Which pornstar?

On topic: My wife's black RX330 has the chrome lid trim. It looks good on that but I'm not sure it would look as good on a GS. I like the idea of chrome door handles, but seem to be in the minority on that one.
