Current WALD kit, I'm confused :(
 

On l-tuned website it says that WALD kit fits 2006-2010 models. When I asked some of the vendors here, they say it wont fit. How can I find out for sure ? Seeing that WALD has not updated the kit since the 08 change, perhaps it does fit 08 models? :sad:

they won't fit. the wald lips will only fit 06-07 and not 08+, unless they came out with a new one already (which i am not aware of). last i checked i couldn't even fit the lip on coz' 08+ bumper flares out more at the bottom

Thanks! Yeah, I figured something was wrong here... I'm also not aware of any updates. And it sucks, because I like the kit a lot :(

I noticed that a lot of the 06-07 GS body kits on L-Tuned say they work for 08+... which from what I was told is not true. Hopefully they'll get around to updating the info one day.

The only 3GS body kit on the website I can think of where they left a warning saying that it's for 06-07 only is the Carson Tuned one.

They better change that info. from 08 and up , the bumper and side mirrors were restyled ( wheels also)

that's interesting. if they know their kits won't fit 08+ then they should know other kits won't

Yeah, I hear ya on that. I asked them about a GS body kit a few weeks ago if it would fit on 08+ GS since the webpage said "2006-2010" but when I got a response they said it was 06-07 only. I figure they just haven't gotten around to updating the info. :sad:

So, I've contacted WALD.....And I got some bad news. I dont think we'll be seeing an update from them

and yes the wald has been a very slow seller on the 3gs compared to their setup for other models. it's all subjective but i think their 3gs kits have been way too subtle compared to their similar setup for other cars. no idea why they did this, but that's kind of bummer. i had wald for both my sc430 and ls460l and i love them, when i saw the 3gs setup i couldn't believe it

^ have to agree.. i don't like some kits for new line ups though. way too bz imo.. i'm talking those kits with 4 fog lamps and splitters..

oh yeah, their newer styles for the 3, c, and is are totally 0_o to me, i keep on scratching my head wondering what's going on

their kits for the previous "generations" of cars like 2gs, sc430, ls430, ls460l, sl, those are all very nice

I agree, the Wald 3GS kit doesn't exactly have that noticeable design.
