Question about removal of parking light bulbs
Hello,
I have asked about parking light bulb removal several times before but still can’t do it. Everybody says just pull it. I have already grabbed pliers, twisted and pulled and the bulb still there. The next step will be to get violent with those damn wires, lol. Please take a look at the picture, maybe my setup is different. The LED replacement bulb is sitting next to the stock bulb. I have installed HID fogs and Vise today and got stack with these stupid bulbs.
Thank you in advance.

haha i just did mine and they where in there good also. my two buddies where laughing and saying just pull on them. I just kept pulling and wiggling it and it finally came out. Driver side was in there more then the passenger side and found it easier to grab with my bare hands. post pics after you install them

you are trying to pull out just the bulb portion of the light assy in the pic right ?? im not too sure what your gonna do with those needle-nose pliers there but....???
btw....ive installed those stupid LED bulbs in my parking lights and didnt like em at all. they were no where near bright enough. and just as EyeKutr said.....make sure they fit snugg in the sockets!! those things are notorious for coming loose and falling in the light assy housing!

Thank You all for great help
I finally did it and it took only a minute for both sides. I grabbed the glass part with the rubber gloves and pulled it off. The size of that socket got me confused, as I thought that the bulb has some plastic cover on it as well. It is actually much easier job than on second generation. The passenger side is a little hard as you need to work inside the bay. I do like the result as those 11 LEDs bulbs are quite bright. They are more on 6000k side but much better than yellow stock. I don’t remember where I got them from but if you search for LEDs there will be a post about these. Some member recommends couple of good stores to get them from (That post has some reference to installation those bulbs on Tundra).
By the way, you ever lose the bulb in the housing; you can fish it out with a wire which has bunch of scotch on the end of it. I did it once on my gs300, took me about 15 sweating minutes.

I did not realize those were 11 LED bulbs, I am pretty certain those will heat up so much that in about a month, they will melt the glue holding the LEDs and those will fail, I am speaking from experience....they do look good, For others reading this, POLARG m4 bulbs are the best match to OEM 4300K headlights...
if you want to match OEM lights, polarg is the way to go, check this thread out....
