Default Seat Problem?

Anyone experiencing or experienced noises coming from the drivers seat? I already know my dash rattles and my brakes squeek, but recently my seat started to make noises. It squeeks when weight is shifted.....almost sounds like if something is rubbing against it or vise versa.

I have a scheduled appointment for it coming up but just wondering if anyone had similar problems?

If I recall correctly there is a TSB for that.

I dont think there is a TSB for that in the 08 GS350. Its prabably the springs in the seats making the sqeaking noise. If its loud enough, the dealer will change the seat out for you.

The TSB is to turn up the volume a little bit more and not to listen so hard.

That seems to be the solution for a lot of the noise the GS makes, seats squeaking, dashboard creaking, sunroof and door rattling, fuel injector ticking brakes squeaking or windshield clips ticking

Haha that is sad. We have a GS300 in the fam without these problems...

Its pretty sad a newer GS would do this.. =(

Yeah, after a while I stopped reading what everyone was saying. When people read more they get more hyper and start to look for trouble.

My old GS300 had a creaking sound from the driver seat whenever I made a turn (i.e. shifted my weight). I told my dealership when I brought it in for service and they said that there was a TSB and fixed it. The seat never made another sound. Not sure what they actually did.

Thats one good thing about lexus, customer service. I had a shifting driver seat problem in my Acura, the dealer would not fix it.

So it turns out.. its not a seat problem, it still sounds like the sound is from the seat, but the tech says its from the suspension?! lol so they are taking the car in next week... will update as soon as i find out more info.

I know this is an old post but my driver's seat just started this dreadful creaking when turning right (weight shifts to the left side of the seat) and it's annoying me.

Any updates on this?

Check the bolts that bolt the seat down the floor pan are not lose. That was my case. Took 2 minute to fix.

I had this issue and the dealer had to felt the trim pieces that look like chrome that wrap around the lumbar supports.
