Gen 5 wont work for your 06 gs430, you need gen 4 ver 8.1. Copies are illegal to sell, and discussions / distributions are not permitted here on CL. For the record, they do work.

Sorry I didnt mention that a friend of mine has an '06 is250 which she might try one of those discs on.. As for my cousin with the 06 gs430, I guess hes going to the dealer for that promotional deal on the gen 4 8.1 software.

Sewell discount code

I just ordered gen5 2009 update DVD. It was $199.95 before discounts, use NAV09 and get a $25 discount. Rebate did not apply since my car is MY07 and did not have 8.1 dvd for exchange. I thought it was a deal from $249 to $175 !

You may want to focus your attention on the new 9.1 update found here: http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...d=203904&all=Y. For your '06 GS, be sure to select the Generation 4 navigation option for the disc.

how do you change DVD ? is the eject button in glove box ? Any instructions on install ?
