I'm officially "IN"
Popped my cherry last night.
Easiest decision of my life.
Pulled the trigger on the GS350 Starfire Pearl/Ash interior.
My first Lexus.
Took me a while but I found two dealerships in the OC who had the package/color combo I was looking for. At one of the dealerships, the guy I was emailing back-and-forth with mysteriously "does not work for the company anymore." After many conversations, he was just GONE. The salesperson who I was handed off to gave NO LOVE and was NO HELP.
My decision to go with Mission Viejo was simple. The salesman was excellent with communication and got straight to the point. No messing around, no hard negotiating. NO HASSLES.
I went in last night and talked to another GREAT employee from sales. Did the initial paperwork and he pulled the car around. Took it for a little spin then returned and went on to the finance department. Once again, more excellent service. Filled out the papers and then waited as the car got detailed and the tank filled.
Total time physically at the dealer, about 2 hours.
Can't say enough about how happy I am about the car. Woke up EXTRA early this morning to go play with the new gadgets.
I love the Starfire Pearl color and my wife loved the Ash interior. Best of both worlds.
