We tried to call animal control, but they don't think animals get hurt at all times of the night. lol

Look for the paw prints on the bumper. It was bracing itself for the hit. lol

Nuts.... How did it get into such a small area without damaging any part of the front end?

Damn, never seen this before. About how fast was your buddy driving? Surprised it didn't die, but it must have something broken. Haha, the picture with the racoon sticking only its head out of the engine bay is amusing =]

There was little damage to the front area of the bumper. Mainly the lower grille and the outside temp. sensor. The sensor and the piece used to attach the sensor was broken, but some glue will fix it. Otherwise the sensor works perfectly fine.

The lip was cracked prior to hitting it, thats the cost of riding low. lol

He was going around 30MPH or so when the raccoon jumped out. I believe something was broken or something was going on because it didn't run off like a normal animal would.

Unfortunately they never came and we could never get into contact with them because they were closed. We had to remove the bumper to try to free it. My friend released it back into the woods.

He drove a good mile or 2 before he got home. When he was hosing it off, he noticed hair and jumped back. His lil boy says "daddy whats wrong?" lol

I'm thinking the impact flapped the grill up and in allowing the raccoon up inside and then it flapped down again. It appears that it's not fully clipped in at the bottom in the first two pics.
