The smart key card WILL work on 06-08 GSxxx. It will allow u to gain entry to your car and start the engine.
Only thing is the mechanical key WONT work on any GS prior 08 models. Due to Lexus changed the key codes on the GS 08 models and up. I hope this clear things up.
