Default How do you utilize your 3GS?

How do you utilize your 3GS? Is it a long distance cruiser, a daily driver or something else?

If you've taken your 3GS on a road trip, where have you been and how far have you driven?

I've only taken a few trips in and around California.

4 times to NorCal and once to Vegas during SEMA. The trip from Vegas took me to NorCal there after which is the reason why I have about 8,200 miles clocked since 8/25/07.

Well, I have taken my GS350 to Beaver Creek, Colorado. I have taken it to Willow Springs twice and was impressed at the overall handling. I then changed the tires to GS-D3's which improved overall traction and less road noise.

I find the GS350 has an all-around car, has a little bit of IS350 but also a little bit of the LS460, its the perfect balance.

Might get the Tein Super Street or CS soon though!!!

Daily driver for the most part. Had a business trip to Sacramento/San Francisco. Probably a couple road trips to Vegas but for the most part I like to stay local

I selected daily driver, long distance cruiser, and weekend car. It's my only ride so I pretty much use it for everything, though the majority of the miles are from weekend trips especially during winter since I'm a big snowboarder. I actually just went to Jay Peak, VT this past weekend. It's about 370 miles each way and takes on average 6.5 hours. Nice relaxing ride in the GS.

Daily driver. And when I get the chances to take it to the mountains here in CO, I love it. The " almost no body roll" in those turns is wonderful.
Wouldn't mind it being a little stiffer on request, but very happy overall.

For me its 100 miles round trip daily "beater" Usually commute 4 days a week, while work out of home one day. On a weekend car gets a break, always parked.

Despite what other people told to get some cheap Hyundai for everyday driving and keep my car for weekend cruising, I wouldn't want it any other way. The car is a perfect balance, at least for me, of performance and luxury. Even one year later, I still look forward driving it everyday. I never experienced this with any of my other cars where after a short while you get used to them and they become just a part of transportation.

Daily driver here...last 3 rides have been SUV's. Road trips to the Oregon coast or local mountains, we take our Sequoia.

RufRidn...that's cool you can keep yours for the weekends. Stays clean, low miles, less chips...just good all around for your ride. Slam dunk if you ever decide to sell it. May I ask what your daily driver is?

Daily/weekend driver, although I can envision some road trips in its future (at least to Tahoe and/or SoCal). Commute daily about 35 miles round trip; weekends around town, sometimes as far as San Jose, this weekend to Sacramento (in California, a trip to Sacramento from the Bay Area can't be called a "road trip" )

I have a 02 Civic SI. I want to sell it and get either a sc300 or a s2000.
