I also bought the kit off of eBay. High quality OEM product. Couple of hours to install if you take your time. Instructions says for 2007 and newer but installed on my 2006 GS430 no problem. Even wire colors were the same.

Just bought a US kit (front door illumination only) off Ebay, which came without the original packaging and instructions.

Does anyone have a PDF of the installation instructions they could send me or point me towards?

I have been through this thread and seen many mentions of the instructions but the links are to the Sewell site, which no longer exists.

Hy guys bringing back a really old thread back to life. I have an opportunity to get the front illuminated door sills of a scraped GS from 2009. I think that has the door sills iluminated but i do not have a clue how to install them. I could not find anything on this thread because most of the links expired.
Can someone please help me with some directions where to put the wires for the sills to illuminate? Thank you very much!

Going to try to bump this as the Sewell links no longer work. Does anyone have the pdf or pictures of the install? While I could probe the wires id prefer it be per Lexus instructions.

The sills themselves actually stick on with an attached adhesive pad, so it might be tricky to remove them without damage. There is also a couple of stickers that are used to cover a previously taped over hole, and there are two "t-tap" connectors per side that connect to a pigtail wiring harness, which connects to a two-pin harness on the doorsill. Having someone else remove previously installed sills seems like a good possibility for breakage or missing components (you may be able to source or fabricate replacements though), so I wouldn't pay too much for used sills. I did see a couple of "new old stock" sets go for in the neighborhood of $200 on eBay recently.
