I don't drive a GS, (IS rather) and I smoke in my nearly everyday. I light one up when I go go to work and come home. It doesn't really hurt it much as long as you're not putting cig burns left and right. And leather doesn't absorb smoke very well. I roll down at least two windows when I do smoke.

In my previous car, I smoked in it for 5 long years and the guy who bought it had no clue.

I drive a lot of my friends and family around and they don't notice at all. Also, I have no air freshener of any kind.

I'm sure there's a reason why these cars come w/ ashtrays. I was stoked when I found out it had an ashtray along w/ a cig lighter. My past two cars never had one and was disappointed.

The first thing I did when I got my IS was smoke in it LOL.

I'm a smoker and so far after owning my new GS350 for exactly two months, i havent smoke once in it. I'll try to keep it that way, and no one will ever smoke in my car.

I smoke once a while, but never in my GS. The resale value can be affected by the smell of smoke in the interior.

I have a 2nd gen GS and yes I smoke like a chimney. (Hell they knocked a few hundred off the price because it was a smoker's car before me) But I figure its my car, its hard to enjoy the ride if I can't relax with the seat laid back and a ciggie in my hand.

And no it don't smell like smoke, I always smoke with the window open. None of my non-smoker friends can tell either.

I am pretty strict when it comes to the GS, someone said it's not a shrine - true but I am reading that people on here don't let passengers ride with them so they won't get butt imprints! Just glad I have no signs of imprints!

Imprint and smoke free in my GS since '07!

I don't smoke but it wouldn't happen, ever! I even get upset when my recirc button gets switch to "fresh" air and someone in front of me is smokin'!
It's a smoker's right though so no criticism from me, but if I was buying one and could smell it, I would pass on that one.

There is no way I am going to smoke in my car, I spend way too much money on it to do that......

Like others have said, I wasn't too happy about the lighter, would have preferred just a regular power outlet in its spot. I don't smoke, and no one will EVER smoke in my car - yuck.
