Low_Dust_Pads & 3M Bra
Well I finally got the TSB done on my car today replacing the front brakes, really I don't notice a difference in braking, also (knock on wood) no squeling. I wanted to know how much people have paid for a 3m bra, I just paid $391.00 for the upper part of my car meaing hood the front lights, the bumper was not done because they told me if would be another $391.00 for that. For now I am going to wait a little..

Did you pay that much for 3M hood coverage from dealership? Cause that is a typical dealership pricing, about $800-$900 for hood, bumper, head/fog lights, and side mirrors. I would strongly recommend you getting the "full coverage" because bumper will get more abuse than the hood. I have VentureShield clearbra (check out the link in my signature, it has a lot of details and pictures), and getting it done outside of dealership for the full coverage was $450. By far, this is the best mod for my car
In Houston, I've got a guy who will do it for 500, and another guy who gave me a bid at 450. When I got my car I asked them to throw it in, they said no but they would give it to me for what they pay and that was 599. So these other prices seem legit, and the guy with the 500 quote did my buddies new 335i and it looks sick. I really need to quit putting this off and go do it!

For all that is interested in a clear bra go to ventureshield.com it is a superior product to the 3m material. Not to say that it wasn't a nice job on your car but for all others who want a clear bra that doesn't yellow and not as easily to see the line across the hood the ventureshield product is superior in that aspect. From what I understand the ventureshield product is also more flexible so it can go around bumpers much more cleanly than the 3m material. Not sure about the 3M product but the ventureshield product is also easily pulled off without damaging the paint.
Other places that you might want the clear bra:
fog lights
door handle area
rear bumper trunk lip area
door lip area
mirror

I had my full front end done (i.e. bumper, fendres, hood, ext. mirrors) and protection for door handles (from nail scratches etc.).
Paid under $600 (parts and labor were ordered separately).
Looks really good and I hope will protect as advertised
