Default Anyone know what's wrong with my Tint?

I got some ceramic tint 1 week ago at the famous California Tint shop in Rosemead So Cal.

Does anyone know why I have these squiggly flame marks on my tint?
It appears that way on all 4 doors.
You can see the marks if you look at the windows at an angle, and actually, even looking straight on....

They are most likely not done drying. If it stays there for another week take it back and demand to get it re-done. It shouldn't do that.

Should be dry though, it's been a week already...

Maybe it was improperly dried? Did you roll down the window right after you picked up the car?

i didn't roll down the windows for 6 days.

however, I've heard that Huper Optik ceramic tint can take weeks to dry.
(I don't have H.O ceramic of course)

I'm just curious what these squigglies are....

I talked to some other tint dudes..

They said it was GHOSTING, due to improper heat shrinking of the tint during application.
and will not go away after drying.

It usually happens on metallized and ceramic films.
So watch out guys!

Take it back immediatly and have them re-install new tint for you. There should be lifetime guarantee from the tint shop, especially they are a famous one.

ya, let it sit for another week, might not be dried, then if not gone, have them completely replace or refund and take elsewhere.
I even had my guy replace a window, because as he was spraying the window a piece of dust got in there and stuck to the water. When it dried there was a little white dot. I said "replace" and well he did.
Hope all turns out well.

Do you have any ghosts on your metallic tint?

I've been told it only happens on metal and ceramic film

California Tint sucks. i had the same problem with them and they told me it would dry up but it never did. I had the windows stripped and retinted and the other guy said that it was dirty water/ soaping agent that they sprayed so it could have never dried clear. If it doesnt clear up take it back to them and have it redone. As for me...i just took it somewhere else to not deal with the drama. Two of mywindows were like that.

the funny thing is that too many people on the Lexus and Infiniti message boards recommend them.

I guess they all got the cheap dyed tint on their cars.

I'm gonna give them one more chance to get it right.
