Here is how my install went.
I followed the instructions from this thread;

Removing the center console; I started pulling it up from the back, the driver side came right up, the driver side has different clips, so I broke one of them pulling. I removed the little face plate about the ashtray first, made removing easy. The bolsters on the side came out with ease.

Removing the Nav screen; I was afraid at first of breaking something so I did not pull very hard. A really good tug on the metal flanges on each side is needed, to free the nav screen, there are clip at the top holding it in place, this is why the solid tug.

Connecting the Vaistech box is like plugging in a printer to your computer. A caveman can do it. Follow the instructions. I programmed for CD emulation, I don't know what CD/MP3 emulation is for.

Position of box; I place the box on the driver side of nav screen, just like the instructions and ran the wired to the arm rest box. Used a dremel to make hole for wire.

Operation; I have quite a few play list on my iPod, I have the iPod set for advance mode and I am able to flip through all of my playlists.

I went really slow, so it took me longer to complete the install, almost 2 hours. It is well worth it.
