Obsidian on (Black or Cashmere)
RE: 2007 GS350. 18 inch tires.
I have decided on the exterior (black); however I am undecided on the interior color. Cashmere or black?
Thanks for your opinions and advice.

I picked Black because it's easier to keep clean, and especially good at hiding shoe marks. Cashmere isn't a bad color (I don't like the Ash gray at all) but the Obsidian/Black combination makes the GS look like a little sport limo - a luxurious and worthy competitor to the E-class and 5-series. And I like the red walnut trim, though many here don't. Cashmere goes better with other colors.

I like Cashmere, because to me black on black is just too
much. The downside is that with Cashmere you have to
work to keep it looking new.
My favorite Lexus interior combo is that Alabaster one on the
new LS though. If they offered that one on the GS that is
the one I would take.

I'd go with black. Cashmere is much harder to take care of and shows dirt and scuff marks. However, I wish there was a dark brown leather. It would also be nice if they let us mix and match upholstery and wood selection.

When I was in the market I thought I wanted cash. But after having cash in my last ride, I decided to give black a try (the ash didn't look go to me either) and I love it. So much easier to keep clean, and I'm thinking the leather seats will age better over time. I especially love the look of black at night when the LED interior lights come on.
