Default buying a GS430 and have some questions

I intend to buy a GS430 here in the UK. I know it will be replaced by a GS460 in the US but it does not look like it is hapenning here in England soon.

We do not have the GS350, it is GS300 (245 bhp) or GS430 (280 bhp)

Unlike the US market, the GS430 here comes with all the following as standard:

Navigation System/Mark Levinson Surround Sound Audio System Package
Active Stabilizer Suspension System
Lexus Pre-Collision System (PCS)
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Electric glass sun roof
18-in G-Spider alloy wheels
Intuitive Parking Assist
Rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers and headlamp washers
Power rear sunshade
Rear spoiler
Ventilated front seats
All-weather floor mats
Trunk mat
Wheel locks
Leather care kit
Touch-up paint

I just have some questions and I hope some could be answered here:
1- How many remote controls are shipped with the car, 2 or 1.
2- Are the remotes user programmed or the dealer has to do it?
3- Are they set to memorize seats, steering wheel & mirrors positions?
4- Can you play any DVD with a 5.1 surround so long as you have an ML system?
5- If you get close to the car and it opens when it detects the key fob, but you don't get in, will it close itself when you walk away?
6- I am interested to know your input on the adaptive cruise control and how it works and if you found it useful on highways?
7- Is there an obvious difference in the car's handling when the sport setting is selected in the adaptive suspention?
8- I hear some are complaining about the car's headlights and that high beam is not sufficient for the job? is it true and could it be fixed?
9- For those with sun roof, does it rob you of a lot of head room?
10- Is there sufficient leg & shoulder room in the back for three adults?

Appologies if these are many questions, but I wanted to ask all in one go rather than in separate threads so I won't inconvenience any one.

Many thanks in advance

Some answers to your questions.

1. The US version ships with 2 fobs.
2. The fobs are programmed to work with the car at factory.
3. You set them for Seat, Steering, and Mirrors (owners manual)
4. ML will play 5.1 surround encoded discs.
5. The car will not open or unlock the doors unless you put your
hand inside the outside door handle. It just turns on the
outside mirror lights and the domes inside.
6. The cruise control works just fine. Works like a normal system.
Dont really notice the advanced options.
7. Yes, my GS430 will handle though a turn faster, and takes the
bumps harder when the sport setting is on.
8. The 'brights' are not as bright as one would hope. But they are
work just fine. The low beams are brighter then an average bulb.
9. I am 6 foot and have plenty of headroom with my sunroof closed.
10. I purchased the car because of the rear leg room. Plenty of it.
shoulder room is another issue, think it will be tight with 3 adults.

Hope this helps. Good Luck, you will love this car. I do!

Many thanks for the replies, So the Sports setting does work well in improving the cars handling round corners? I am interested in hearing peoples' opinion on this system.

thanks
