Your sig only shows an IS350 - do you also have a GS350 or was it a loaner car?

With that kind of low mileage I cringe to think of the excess wear possibly encountered by the motor being run that hard so early in its life. But if it was a loaner car then I suppose maybe you don't care...

For what it's worth my 99 GS400 in stock form with all season tires and 16" wheels only managed a 14.7 @ 97 and I don't think I am an unskilled drag racer because I managed a 15.1 @ 93 with my 06 Audi A4 which is among/the best time I've seen anyone get with my motor/configuration of A4 on the Audi forums.

Awesome numbers, but doing all of this with 300 miles on the car?

the GS350 is a spare car in the family. I personally don't like to drive it because of the size. I prefer the smaller, faster and more agile IS350. I didn't mind take it to the strip with low mileage because i'm sure the tech at the dealership where I got it from already beat the crap out of if when they test drive it. The car came with 17 miles so i'm sure they had fun with it. There are a lot of tips out there on how to break in a car but nobody really can tell you exactly how to break it in properly. Some will tell you to drive it hard so the piston rings can set in and some will tell you other wise. I myself just trust lexus in reliablilty. I might be a little bias when I said that because I'm asian but I had a very bad experience with with a brandnew BMW before.

When you race an auto tranny car, you don't really need a lot of skill at all. I think most of the time it's just luck. When you drive an auto, you just stomp on the gas and go lol. The GS350 is a little bit easier to launch than the IS350 because it has less wheel spin due to the longer gear. Anyhow, I just ran my stock IS350 last night and did a 13.6 in it, here's the thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=247842

It will be done once it get colder in south fla, I will slap on the IS350 tires and give it a shot. They are 255 wide so they should help with the 60'.
