Trade GS300 for GS350 ?
I guys I am about to trade my GS300 AWD for an GS350 RWD.
I know it does not make financial sense. The thing is I am not
happy with my current car. I want the RWD GS300 with the 303 hp
I should have waited for the 350 but I did not so now I have to
decide on the color red or dark blue currently it's red but I like the
blue also. The GS300 is at the dealer to fix the noises
for the fourth time What do you guys think about the whole thing. I
welcome your comments.

I drove both, and the extra HP pop in the new 350 is noticeable (revs a bit higher, of course).
And the engineers seem to have modified / tuned the braking system in a manner that makes it smoother, ie it does not grab hard on the 350, but did on the 300. Maybe it was me, but it seems smoother now.

Well... KBB for your car should approx. be $41k-43k (fully loaded, excellent condition). Some dealers are offering fully loaded GS350 RWD's for $46.5k. You'll mainly lose on the taxes because there will be a $3-5k difference on price and you might be able to talk it down. Try to privately sell your car, you may save up to $2000.

i say go for it. you will have some financial pain. no pain no gain. get the 350 AWD w/nav no ML. i dont think ML is worth it. im very happy with the stock radio. i wasnt carzy about the rain sensing wipers. i hear they dont work very well. park assist, all i can say is if i havent learned how to park a car in the last 20 years im in big trouble. rear sunshade is an options that i would have liked, but wasnt available w/o ML.

the same thought has creped into my mind as well,I really want an AWD 350, but I think I will enjoy my 300 for a little while,I already spent $$$ on this one(clear bra, pillar posts) and I can't recoup those when I trade in,especially since the 350 came out!!
could be worse,though!!

Get the Black Sapphire. The GS looks better in dark colors, and Matador Red is a Highway Patrol magnet. You'll have to take the Cashmere interior, though - it's the only option for Black Sapphire without a special order.

There's an old saying "Good things come to those who wait" If you're already willing to take the financial hit, why not consider waiting for the GS460. There's no doubt the 460 will be even quicker than a 350.
