Default Nav System with ML - Is there a without ML?

I see a lot of posts where folks are pricing the GS350 with Nav system and ML. Is it even possible to get the NAV. system without th ML? - I know on earlier GS Models if you got the Nav. System you were forced into the ML stereo.

You can get Nav without ML. But ML is worth the extra cost.

Cut-Throat, Opinions, Opinions, Opinions. I personally didn't think the ML was worth the extra dough.

I purchased my GS350 with NAV, No ML. Check my thread for more 411.

Before my purchase, Lexus gave me a GS to take home for the night without ML, yes it was ok - but I really like my music to sound good and it was missing the extra oomphh, plus think resale value ...

you may have a point about the ML. but the stock radio sounds really good. you cant get ML without all those other non-sense options. in the northeast nav w/ML seemed to take longer to get. most dealers said the didnt stock ML, because it really wasnt worth the extra cost.

Default What about DVDs?

Does the nav system with the non-ML version still have the capability to play DVD movies and/or DVD-A audio disks? Not sure if you need both. Anyone with NAV and a standard Lexus audio, did you try to play DVDs?

Thanks...

I just purchased a 350 AWD on Saturday (10/21) and the dealer told me the same thing, the ML was not worth the extra money, plus it would take up to four months to order one/receive it. I couldn’t bring myself to wait so I just got the NAV with standard audio.

Mm9351, I was told by the dealer that in order to play DVD’s (movies/DVD audio) you need the complete package, ML+NAV. I believe this is because they change out the in-dash CD player with a CD/DVD player. Anyway, when I pick up my car I will try this out just to be sure.
