Anyone have a WAV or MP3 of the creaks or sounds their GS300 makes? I picked up my GS350 on Saturday and I'm a little nervous of what I heard on the way to work this morning. I have ML and I'm afraid I have the ML creak. It sounds very much like a Geiger counter when sitting at a light. I turned off the ML, ejected all the discs, turned off the air and still had the sounds.

If it does it again at lunch I'll capture a sound bite and see if it's the same thing. Maybe I should hold off getting my clear bra and tint installed tomorrow.

Mark Levinson creak...a strange sound that only seems to occur if you have the ML stereo. Others have mentioned it here.

 

There's a TSB for the ML creak. Can't seem to find it at the moment, but it's in one of the threads.

Thanks for the info. This really sounds more like an electronic ticking. Thankfully I haven't heard it again.

 

I think what you're hearing is the ticking noise from the direct injection. Don't worry, it's normal.

 

No, that's not it, it's inside the cabin and actually sounds like it's coming from just below the center speaker. It's not nearly as quick as the direct injection sound.
