anyone successfully transfer the numbers from their phone via bluetooth to the car ?

i have a nokia and the screen says its transferring see phone or something , but how long should this take ?

do i have to have the numbers on my phone and not my sim ? do i have to send it from phone ?

Have you looked here for your phone? This was surprisingly pretty good...at least for my Treo. It gives step by step instructions on the pairing document for each phone.
