Hmm, I see a moderate amount here in Nor Cal. I mean, yeah, it's NOT inexpensive. I mean, what? do you expect them to roll off the assembly line like Camry's? (which BTW I've seen a bunch for the short while it's been out )

I haven't really seen that many M's though. Funny, when I was contemplating buying the GS, I didn't really like the M that much, but now that I have the GS, my thoughts are that it's pretty sweet looking car. I don't know, maybe I'm just a sucker for black headlight housings.. or maybe those butterfly taillights.

I still like the GS better, though. ;-)

I never quite felt comfortable with the looks of the M35. It reminds me too much of an enlarged G35 with a fat raised up rear end with oversized tail lamps. I find the GS more pleasing to the eye with smoother lines, a much better side view, and a simple but elegant rear. I'm quite pleased there are not a Zillion GSs rolling around. I see many more M35s. My feelings are "Less is More".

I really don't see to many gs's on the road in the dc metro area. I do see more Infiniti M series but man on man do I see the 5 series around here.

Got tons of 5 series, and several Ms floating around in the Big Dallas. But not very many new GSs. There are still plenty of Whale drivers out here, but not many new ones.

To be honest, I didn't even consider the M as it looks like big G, and the G is a big enough POS as it is. I don't need a really big POS to drive around.

I bought the GS becuase the first time I saw one I thought "man...that is one sexy car!" and the more I looked at it, the more I liked it...that is why I got it; I liked it. Granted it is grossly under powered, but I can stick it in Manual mode and get where I need to. It will do me just fine for the next 3 years...then I'm off to what should be the 2nd prduction year of the new LS460.

They are quite common here in Queens and especially in Nassau County if you mean the GS 300 AWD. GS 430s are hard to see and this also includes the M45, E500, 550i.

I have been seeing them a lot where I live. It surprises me because I am seeing more 3 gen GS's than when the 2nd gen was out. I am also seeing a lot more 2nd gen GS's on the road now. They are being gobbled up here. I live in a sub of 15K and there are at least four 3rd gens' in the area. Oh yeah, I saw a new NM GS 350h a couple of weeks back.
