if you have nav and ML, then yes, you can. put in the dvd, make sure the car is in P and the foot brake engaged, and it can play
but you are in hwaii. do you have nav / ml? i was under the impression that lexus doesn't have nav for hwaii yet, but i could be wrong

Iam no longer living in hawaii I recently moved to south florida and considering buying the new GS but was just wondering about playing dvd on the nav system. Thanks alot for answering my question.
