Has anyone observed the effect of the “Light Sensitive Optitron Sensor” on the gauge lenses? I’ve tried all the manual and auto settings shown on page 71 of the Owner’s Manual to no avail. Even tried having someone else shine a flashlight at the sensor in the rear brake light with no effect.

Had 1st oil change, service guy said it was OK, but could'nt demonstrate it.
