Thanks!

Conclusions

If you want to feel like you have arrived, I suggest you take a drive in the all-new GS 430. This totally redesigned luxury sport sedan offers a well-balanced blend of safety and performance in a very stylish wrapper, and when compared to its German rivals, is somewhat of a bargain.

MPG conversion seems a little, okay, a Lot High. 22mpg to 33mpg compared to 18/25 usa version. Weird. Explaination?

Did anyone else notice how the reviewer stated the AVS had 4 settings? It's stuff like this that makes me wonder if he really drove the car. That and the fact that he said he's 6' 2" and wears a hat, yet had plenty of room. I'm 6' 1" and never drive w/ a hat and I find the headroom acceptable at best.

I'm 6' 2" and I found the headroom in front and the back to be quite decent. I had no problems in the front, and still some clearance in the back. I also had a good amount of legroom when sitting in the back.

Maybe he gets the little things wrong, like the number of AVS settings, but at least the reviews are realistic, and he tells it like it is about the GS ... unlike some other, bigger sites which change their mind about certain models depending on the review.

My guess is Imperial to metric conversion ... all MPG ratings in Canada seem high ... but they are actually converted I believe from L/100km ... so I think that is the difference.

1 Canadian gallon = 1.201 U.S. gallon

Those wacky Canadians and their Canadian Gallons. Thanks for the update. I figured something was off. Didn't have time to research.

Which is exactly why we picked this color (Cashmere int.) Lexus colors have always been nice but muted, This time around we wanted an "in your face" bright color.

The review also talked about adjustable pedals and "hill start assist". Neither of which I could find as options (either on the US or Canadian website). Did he really have the car?

That is exactly why I decided on this color but with black interior. My last two GS's were both Black Onyx mainly because I felt it was the only color that truly looked great on the 2nd gen. I was ready for something that really made a statement for a Lexus and this color does it. Everytime I see it I get all warm and fuzzy inside and get a S**** eating grin. LOL
