I know I will probably get flamed for what I'm about to say but here it goes.....

Is it just me or from the rear, does the '06 3GS look like it has the exact same taillights as the new Volkswagen Jetta??..........

P.S. Don't get me wrong, I love the new GS. I think it's amazing. But sadly out of my price range trying to start a business and build a SC3 at the same time.

The outer GS lights are square and the reverse is under. The outer VW lights are round and the reverse is centered. Apart from that they're very similar, um, they both light up!

Dont worry the curves on the gs will make you wonder why you need a women at all, well actually dont wonder of to far because who knows what you might do to the 06 gs

 

Don't worry about it too much...it's a Lexus, expect them to copy all kinds of styling and stuff from the Europeans. As a matter of fact, the window arc looks almost like a knockoff of the 7 series BMW.

 

considering that GS was revealed 2 yrs before Jetta.....................

And in fact, Jetta and Passat are heavily influenced by Japanese designs, and from profile they look a lot like Corolla and Camry, which was well documented in design reviews...

Since Toyota is now top of the tops, ze germans seem to be copying it a lot.

 

The jetta looks nothing like the new GS.
