Default the buzz

The sound is coming from the telescopic steering wheel. I don't know what it's doing but my guess is it's completing its "automatic tilt away" cycle.

Yep... It's also mentioned in the owners manual.

The noise is the steering wheel lock.

There is a vapor pump which runs after you turn the vehicle off for about 30 seconds. It also runs several hours after the car has been turned off so don't freak out if you hear it.

I hear it on mine and it only lasts 1 maybe 2 seconds. It happens after I shut off the car and the moment I open the door whether I open it immediately or a minute later. No other time have I heard it.

I also thought it was from the headlights. I hear the same type of buzzing when I'm coming home into the garage after releasing the steering wheel to unwind after a turn. I though it was the adaptive headlights positioning back. Of course the sound is not as audible b/c of the engine noise, but you could still hear the same buzz.

the buzzing noise is your streering wheel locking so u dont got to lock the wheel like in older cars it locks its self for you.
