Default 2006 GS w/19" Volk LE37T

Here's a Black Onyx GS300 w/19" Volk LE37T at Longo Lexus that we were talking about in a previous thread. Photo taken on 3/12/05, the same time Rominl was there. I didn't have time to get all the stats for the wheel/tire setup. But the rear wheels are 19x9.5 +45 offset 5x114.3. The rears were wrapped w/Toyo T1-S 275/30YR19 tires.

IMHO needs to be lowered.

Although 19's look nice on the new GS, it really screams for 20s.

Not because I have the 20's, but they look too small. Something does not look right in the rear.

I think it's because of the huge fat base of the C pillar and the trunk area being so short, it looks like alot of the bulk has shifted towards the rear. Somewhat of disproportionate form in certain angles.

I agree that the 19s look a little small on the new GS. It may look better if it was lowered but I think 20s fit the wheel wells better. I cant wait to see some of the new GS owners when they come out with coilovers for the new GS.

Thought maybe the rims would look cool on NYlexus mercury metallic.

that doesn't look good at all. those Volks are a sport design and it just doesn't look right on a luxury sedan.

I think it looks good. I really love the rear wheels with that lip. However its not perfect(well for me atleast). I think those wheels would look 100% better if it was black with a chrome lip and was lowered a bit. Plus it needs the addition of the lip spoiler. But hey, its a start.
