Default No deposit necessary

I took my LS in for service today and inquired about the new GS. After showing some interest, the salesperson tells me that he can reserve one for me as soon as they arrive. He said no deposit was necessary and that I can reject the car with no problems.

Becuase I seriously doubt I'll buy a new GS, promissed the wifey that I'd keep my LS for two more years, I declined the offer.

Those that are interested, you should consider that option. NO MONEY DOWN. He did mention that I was elgible due to being a current Lexus owner and not a "flight risk". So all you shady scum bums, this won't work for you... J/J

Cheers.

Why would a dealer even ask for a deposit? They're not going to have a problem selling out all of their allotments the first couple of months. Who cares if someone on the list walks.
