Hi,
need to remove driver side (Diy)
Ac vent on Lexus GS 2008!
Can anyone help!

Hey! I took the time to reply to your post, be respectful. I mentioned the Tesla screen install because, in order to install it, you have to remove
the radio navigation, and therefore accessing the air vents, in case you are talking about the center air vents.

Incase if you read it.
Ive seen this video. Only center vents are accessible.

Did you figure out how to remove the vent? I took mine out while installing a remote start. It's pretty simple. Let me know and I'll post how to do it.

I am sorry for the late reply but hopes this helps someone in the future. They is nothing holding that vent in but tension clips. It can be carefully pried out. In my situation, I was installing a remote start and had to remove the panel that has all the adjustment switches (trunk release, gas door release, etc.). I wanted to mount the alarm control box as high up in the dash as possible and to do so I reached up behind the vent and pushed it out. There is a connector on the vent for the light so don't push too aggressively if you go this route. You can just pry the vent out very carefully without damaging the dash. Use plastic pry tool and you should be good.
