Air Mix Servo Stuck (i.e. can't pull it out)

I know I’ve posted twice in this forum about replacing these air mix servos. But I’m replacing the other one and ran into the same problem. (Sorry to keep bugging y'all about it.)

I’m replacing the other driver’s side air mix servo motor (on a 2006 GS 300). And I’m running into the same problem as the last time. I get the screws removed, but I cannot remove the servo motor. It’s as if the arm or shaft coming out of the motor (see picture) is stuck in the gears that it connects to. When I’ve read others’ posts on forums describing the removal of these servo motors, no one mentions any trick to getting them to turn loose from whatever that arm/shaft is connecting into.

The other driver’s side air mix servo motor I removed didn’t go well. I just applied force to it and the arm/shaft broke off. I want to avoid it happening again.

Does anything know if there’s some trick or technique to getting the servo motor to turn lose so it'll come out?

Try wiggling it, tapping on it, use a pry bar to bend it slightly then pop it off. But these servo motors I rarely hear these things going bad. I remember your issue was not getting the heater to work properly, and that it would only heat one end. Did you try flushing the heater core like I mentioned previously? I just hate to see you open a can of worms, by replacing parts that are not broken and creating more issues then need be.
