Default Heated Seats fix

I took delivery of my new to me 2GS3 back in late August (in TX) and one of the things I realized was that my heated seats were inop. The light doesn't even turn on. Checked fuses and it's all good down there.

I'm going to take it to my indy mechanic soon but I wanted to ask if there are any other things I should check that may make the debugging process easier. I'm a native Texan so naturally anything under 70F means I need to layer up

Thanks!

Neither seat works and neither switch lights up? They should light up even if the elements are defective. So I would totally think it's an issue you'll be able to pinpoint with minimal effort. Did you check all 3 fuse boxes, and check for any blown or missing fuses. They should be on a dedicated circuit so nothing else would be inoperable if the fuse for them blew. Also check to see if the wire harness under each seat is plugged in and there isn't any obvious issues with the wiring or plugs. If everything looks good then pull the center console trim up, so you can examine the switches. Check and make sure the switches are also plugged in. If that all looks good then it's time for your multi meter or the Indy Tech. Good luck
