Default Power Window Issues with my 2001

I've been having problems with the power windows on my 2001 GS 300. They randomly fail and can get stuck down for quite a while. In researching the problem, I came upon this video about RX300 windows
. The symptoms seem the same as my GS. Can a similar procedure be used to fix the GS windows? Has anyone done it, are they the same relays? My son has the car a school so I can't just pull it apart and would like to get the parts so I can fix them the next time he is home. Thanks in advance for any help.

The relays on the GS is in the door ecus, With all electronics parts, failure is imminent.

Do all your windows have the same problem or is it just one that acts up?

The better question would be whether it only happens from one switch, like driver's door only or from each individual door as well. This would determine relay failure or other faults.

All windows are sketchy from all switches. My son says full failure of everything but the driver window now That one will usually get stuck down for a while if you use it My son isn't very reliable with debug info. Last time he was home all were sketchy from all switches.

I had replaced the driver switches with a junkyard set That helped for about 6 months but it's worse now Rears used to be fine, not anymore

Each door has it's own door ecu that controls the actuator motors.
If only occurring when controlling all the windows from the driver door is sketchy then it is the driver door switch and / or door ecu.
If you go to each door and using the switch at each door and having issues then I would look wiring issues and/or leak into the fuse boxes. Both footwell fuse box has body ECUs on the back of them and could cause issues if those are water soaked.
Tell tale sign is issue being worse after it rains.

It was really cold and rainy while he was home, but I did get a chance to quickly look at the car. Driver window is sketchy. Put it down and it wouldn't go back up. Eventually got it to go up after waiting a while. All the other windows seem to work OK once I unlocked the master.

I would lean towards the driver side switch panel and/or the drivers door ecu on this one. There's also a control lock, if that lock is pressed down or faulty it could cause the other 3 windows not to function.
