Default 2005 Gs

Have anyone seen pictures of the redesigned 2005 GS300/430? I was over at the Lexus dealer yesterday test driving the GS300 (wanted to drive the 430 but there was none on the lot) because I will be purchasing one next summer. The sales rep. told me that I may want to hold off until next July because Lexus is redesigning the GS line and it will look nothing like the current model. My wife drives a LX470 and I am currently driving a 2000 maxima. After driving the GS300, I can hardly wait until next summer but I think I will go with the GS430.

search man, search..bottom line: no, no one knows what it is going to look like, Lexus is pretty good with keeping their new models a secret. The only thing known for sure is that for 2004 the LS430 is getting a refresh.

The sales rep. told me to look up a site called autospies. http://www.autospies.com He said that they are rumored to have a spy picture of what the GS line will look like.

Talking

At least part of the rumor is true: they have a computer rendering of what is alledged to be the redesigned car. Whether or not this actually IS the car is less well known. Lexus has been engaging in a campaign of disinformation at fairly high levels regarding the new GS, i.e., one corporate source claims no new car till 05 as an 06 model with no additional power, another says 04 as an 05 with AWD option AND more power.

So, you decide.........one thing is certain, however. Sales people usually are among the LAST to actually see a car or hear confirmed specs, at least in past years with past new or redesigned models (most recently, the RX330).

I would VERY much like either a "link" to that thread/post or if you could 'righ-click' and save the picture and post it up over here would be fine too. I searched all over that site and saw/heard nothing of the upcoming GS............

We have definitely seen that picture here before. You are not missing much. It looks like a very muscular camry.
