Sorry. Didn't mean to say that gs300 are lemons. Mine just happened to be a small lemon because besides the accelerator problem, I had to replace the starter also at around 70k. When I took my car in, the dealer mentioned that when some customers come in for a couple problems, the good news is that they never see the customers with any troubles ever! Again, other than that, no problemo at all!

Default I always think i'm jinxing myself when I respond to these things....

But...

64k and only required maintenance so far (I have all the car's paperwork). Just completed (last month) a 2 week 3500 mile trip to New England, in 97 degree heat, and turned 24 mpg average. The car ran fabulously, even driven hard in the mountains.

I'm an exteremely happy camper.

Something's up if he had you "on the hook" and went through the trouble to post it on EBay. Probably thinks he can get morw $$ for it or something. Take it as a blessing that he might not have been a straight up guy------ and you found it out BEFORE you bought his car!

115 000 miles. And I use it on all types of journeys from cruising at 110 mph for 3 hrs to London and back to country roads and hills. No problems at all. Front discs warped a little that the only thing I need to fix.

Mileasge isn't one of the important things to look at I think if the previous owner had cheap tyres on it that tells you they had a save money attitude, things like that tell you if it's not worth buying.
