Very cool thread. I love how Japanese cars have these hidden features in them. My cousin has lent me his GS300 while he's in Mexico and it's just a nice car. You can hardly believe that it's 11 years old.

Thanks for the great information guys. I just got the car yesterday and now I went and tested all these hidden features.

Damn couldn't believe how filthy the ac filter was!

Yeah mine was too, I vacuumed it up really good every season.

It should be possible, mines automatically locks when I shift to drive or reverse.

Did you have to do something special?Because mine doesn't lock automatically either. Its an '02

I bought my 01 stock, and I've done nothing to it but LEDs in the interior. Maybe you can have yours set through the C-best setting by the dealers. Mines locks, but doesn't unlock once I park, but I like it like that.

a lot of these special features can be turned off or changed to a different setting if you have a techstream or have the dealer do it.
